Vespera, once the most fearsome Dragon Sovereign, now scrubs pots in a palace kitchen while her magically vulnerable daughter hides beneath a scullery maid's disguise. Arrogant paladins kick her, douse her with swill, and hurl insults daily, yet she absorbs every indignity without striking back.
