At the Luna coronation, Alpha Lucas shocks the pack by claiming two fated mates: Nora and her twin sister, Mia. He submits the Luna title to a full pack vote, casting his ballot for Mia first, followed immediately by their mother. The final tally gives Nora nothing. Lucas then takes Nora aside to say she remains his true bond, arguing that Mia only needs the crown because her wolf is fragile. Nora coldly shuts down the mate bond and decides to walk away.
