Shawn appears to be just another divination hall operator, yet he carries the weight of his grandfather Samuel's sealed battle from twelve years past. When the forbidden formation shatters, releasing the adversary Samuel once contained, Shawn traces the darkness through ancestral tombs, cursed rivers, and imperial burial grounds. Lethal arrays activate at every turn while his assistants fall into peril. He must dismantle the traps, confront the corpse queen, and prevent the national fortune from being seized, all while the enemy he inherited grows stronger.
