Five months pregnant, Giovanna overhears her husband Milo, a crime boss, ordering surgeons to remove her kidneys for his lost love Bella. The shock deepens when her mother Sophia reveals Bella is actually her biological daughter. Giovanna learns Milo murdered all seven of their previous children and stole her eggs. Feigning compliance, she secretly records three damning confessions and arranges an escape. After Bella moves into the estate, daily torment escalates with Milo and Sophia shielding the interloper. When illness strikes, Giovanna is exiled to the attic, where Bella rips out her catheter to frame her and Sophia forces her to kneel. At Milo's birthday banquet, Giovanna projects the recordings, exposing the conspiracy to the assembled crowd.
