After dying from a hundred forced kneelings before Dominic Moretti — each preceded by Ivy's escalating brutality that he dismissed — Ava wakes with full memories and immediately calls Sebastian Thorne in New York. He answers instantly, honoring a twenty-year vigil that began when they scavenged meals from trash cans as eight-year-olds on a Long Island estate before she was sent to Chicago. She demands Dominic's destruction in seven days; Sebastian delivers it in five, then reclaims their childhood home, rips the freezer door from its hinges, and embeds a promise kept into his wedding vows.
