A hundred years of conflict between humans and dragons ends when Aeris, the imprisoned heir of the dragon realm, pulls Prince Imon from execution on the battlefield. The armistice ships Aeris to the human capital as a hostage consort, his eyesight and royal standing stripped away. Imon spends two years chasing the ghost of the stranger who vanished after rescuing him, never suspecting the silent, blind spouse sharing his bed is that very savior. Aeris navigates a marriage built on concealed identity while Imon searches for a hero already beside him.
