Veterinarian Chloe Valentine slips through a concealed entrance into a clinic populated entirely by legendary creatures. Her severe myopia renders fangs, claws, and the towering Abyss Lord as harmless blurs, so she applies the same calm routine reserved for house cats. A snarling hellhound receives a soothing exam without hesitation. The beasts, accustomed to healers who tremble, find her oblivious composure disarming, turning her clueless kindness into an unlikely bridge between worlds.
