Alex perishes from office exhaustion and awakens in Diamont as a magic-less orphan assigned to tend dragons, enduring daily torment at the academy. A chance encounter with an ancient crystal floods him with fire, water, wind, earth, light and darkness simultaneously, making him the first mage in history to command every element. He shatters a testing stele with a single blow, earns the allegiance of a millennium-sealed dragon, seizes the Staff of Annihilation and cuts down the demon vanguard, turning a despised servant into the leader of six kingdoms' united forces.
