Jenny has always steered clear of Xavier, the league's leading scorer and her brother Samuel's bitter on-ice adversary. That distance vanishes when Xavier walks in on her alone with his nude photograph, turning mortification into a charged connection. They begin meeting in closets and bathrooms while pretending indifference in public.
